To the honourable juries, teachers, and all people here.

Assalamu’alaikum War. Wab.

First of all, I’d like to thank to the commitee who gave me the opportunity to give this speech here and also thank to our god Allah SWT, who has given so much blessing to all of us. My name is Ariane Nafila, I’m from SMAN 5 Sukabumi. Well today, I’m standing up here, I’d like to deliver my speech. The title is, “Independent Culture As a Measure For Strong Indonesia”.

Ladies and gentleman, have you heard? A scientist from Brazil, Dr. Ariso Santos said that Indonesia is Atlantis. That is evidenced by the cultural relics and soil fertility in Indonesia. Moreover, the results of his research for 30 years, claimed that Indonesia is the center of world civilization. And now, we are staying on the island of Java. People call Java as 'Java Dwipa' which means, the island of rice. In Java, we can grow anything because Allah SWT grants as a fertile soil in the world. Then, what is our duty as the people of Indonesia to take advantage of the grace that has been given by God? True! Which is to make Indonesia become a strong country.

Ladies and gentleman, do you know what is the key of the strong country? Yup! The key of the strong country is the rich farmer. Why do I say like that? According to KampusTani.com, 5 of 10 richest people in Indonesia, such as Chairul Tanjung, Peter Sondakh, and Bachtiar Karim has a farming business. Therefore, there’s nothing wrong for us to begin implementing the independent culture, especially in agriculture sector. As well as you know, Indonesia is a very rich country which is full of various cultures. The kinds of musics (like Gamelan and Angklung), the kinds of cuisines (like Rendang and Satay), the kinds of crafts and architectures that will you find in Indonesia.
So, what should we do to make Indonesia become a strong country? Exactly! The great answer is love your country! Preserve the environment, preserve the culture, and love the product! Meanwhile, I’d like to tell you about the reasons why Indonesia must be strong.
* If you ever heard that the rich farmer means the strong country, the statement is true! Because, it can be evoke a spirit of youth to rise up and not be embarrassed to farming with science and technology.
* To become a strong nation, at least, begins with education and and health which are underserved, clothing and food are enough, and also shelter and energy are met.
* Remember! Indonesia is a rich country with the largest island in the world. So, we are the citizens of Indonesia must be clever to maintain, manage, and defend our beloved country, Indonesia Raya.

Well ladies and gentleman, from the text, we can conclude that independent culture is the key of the strong country. So, what are you waiting for? Civilization is in our hands! Love the country is a proof of faith. Applying independent culture is one solution for strong Indonesia. That’s why Indonesia must be strong! Well, that was all my speech.
